Lake Mary Cash GroceryGrowing Home – The Lake Mary Story will be a 60-minute documentary film that will trace the long, rich history of the City of Lake Mary. Historic photos, dramatic reenactments, interviews with residents and city leaders will be used to help viewers discover how Lake Mary grew from a sleepy little village to become nationally recognized by Money Magazine as one of the best cities to live in America.

Swimmers enjoying Lake MaryThe video will use local historical sites and some residents to relive key moments in Lake Mary’s history during its nine-month production.

Community residents and businesses will be funding this exciting and important film project. Each household in Lake Mary will receive of copy of the finished video via mail when it is completed in the fall of 2009. Also included in the distribution will be public and private schools, Chamber of Commerce (mail out to prospective businesses), and public libraries.

About the producers: The Crawford Group (www.crawfordgroup.tv), which makes its home in Lake Mary, Florida, is a national full-service multimedia production house specializing in high-definition video and live-event productions. Chad Crawford, owner of the company, was raised in Lake Mary and currently resides there to this day with his wife and three children. It is his hope that this film and the telling of the Lake Mary story will serve as a rallying point for the community.
